Flood control is essential for Sacramento and I'm passionate about ensuring that we have the best possible protection for our families, homes, neighborhoods and businesses.   I'm a life-long Sacramento resident, growing up in the Del Dayo neighborhood and living in the River Park neighborhood with my family for the last 25 years.  I have experienced the major storm events over the past decades and understand the flood risks we face.  We need to ensure the highest levels of levee maintenance to protect us from the effects of future storms.
 
I'm currently serving as President of the Board of the American River Flood Control District and would appreciate your vote to continue representing Division 4 for another term.  
 
Over the last 25 years, I've been committed to public service at the local level, including leadership in neighborhood associations, environmental groups, public schools, business groups and youth sports organizations. I'm known for collaboration, problem solving and sound fiscal decision making.
